Welcome To JaKool Designs

We are a graphic design community centered around providing free forum signatures, site banners, and logos for any and all that request them. The admins and designers here enjoy making graphics and are performing this service as a hobby. All that we ask is that you say thanks once we've delivered a graphic you are happy with. One of our goals is the advancement of people's interest in graphic design. Feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to help.

This is not just a place to show off our work but we'd like to see yours as well. There is a public gallery for just this purpose. One of the great things about designing is seeing other people's work and getting inspired to try new things. So dont be shy, show your talents and lets see what you've got.

JaKool Designs Re-opens

You read that right. After a 4 month retirement, JaKool Designs is back and open for business. JaKool Designs was founded in 2005 by JAKL, SofaKing Kool, and YellowEyes. The site quickly grew and in the three years we were open over 2000+ free signatures, 200+ free banners and countless graphic designing tutorials were provided by the staff. In April of 2008 after numerous hosting problems and a lack of time due to real life issues, we decided to shut down JaKool. In July 2008, we started kicking around the idea of opening back up thanks in large part to prompting by and work of Mycrospyder. So here we are, the gangs back together again with all of the original founding admins as well as the ones added along the way. A lot of the old staff is back too and I'm sure a few more will trickle in as we really get back into the swing of things. If you're an old regular, welcome back and if you're new you'll quickly find out why everyone enjoyed calling this their Internet home. The public opening of JaKool Designs V2 begins today.

Just to let everyone know, yes we are back. JaKool Designs will be officially re-opening September 1st, if not sooner. At the moment while we work out a few kinks with the forums and get everything organized we are not allowing registrations for anyone other than former staff members. You can go ahead and pre-register so that you have the name you want and as soon as we officially open the boards we'll process everyone that has queued up. Thanks for your patience and enthusiasm with being back at JaKools again. I know I can speak for all of the staff when I say we never really knew how much we missed this place until it was closed down and then started talking about re-opening it. So stay tuned, it wont be that much longer and then the JaKools you knew and loved will be up and running again.

Back 2 Jakools Official Default Sig Contest

Welcome back to Jakools! A reinvention of one of the most sucessful graphics websites around! Considering our new forums template, we are going to kick things off with an official B2Jakools contest. Here are the requirements: QUOTE Size: 400x150 only Theme: Based on website design (matching colors, etc.) Text: JaKools New Member Subtext: www.jakooldesigns.com Matching Avatar required Size: 100x100 only All entries will be due no later than August 29th at 8 pm cst. Once all entries are recieved, a vote will determine the best design. Rules will be simular to any other voting on our boards. First to 10 wins, in case of a tie, a new vote will be launched to battle it out. Let the designing and creativity begin!

Forum Rules and Posting Guidelines

This is an open forum, however the freedom of speech is limited to what we think should be free. So with that said, feel free to post on any topic you want. Please label explicit material as such so no one's kids are looking over their shoulder should they open that content. Also, this is not a public forum for religious or political debates. If you want to do that find the appropriate forum and have at it. This is friendly place so spamming, flaming, degrading or otherwise being of a foul nature to another member of this board will not be tolerated. This isn't a newspaper, but our forums, we can moderate how we choose and these and any rules we may have are subject to change at our discretion. If you feel you have a problem with a member of the board please contact an admin or a moderator to help you resolve any issues. Taking matters into your own hands will most likely not have the desired outcome you are looking for. Thanks in advance. XC (Grumpy old admin)
